I have different questions so I decided to post this here.

Are the albinos strain compatible?

I have a male tremper albino and I want to make albino babies. should i just buy tremper females, or will I hatch albinos from tremper x bell, or tremper x rainwater breeding?

i want to buy female geckos, but I want baby geckos. Do breeders know for sure what sex the leos are by the time they are about 10-15 grams? I want to avoid "temperature sexed" so I prefer to go with visualy sexed.

I have all these question because I want to add some females to my collection at Daytona, BUT I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I WILL SEE AT THE SHOW!

albino strains are not compatible. If you breed a Tremper to a Bell, for example, you will hatch out normal geckos which are het for both Tremper and Bell. If you breed these hets with a Tremper, you will have (statistically) 50% normals (het for Tremper and possibly for Bell) and 50% Trempers. It is not advisable to cross albino strains because it becomes difficult ultimately to figure out what strain the offspring is.

I can usually sex my geckos by 15 grams, although I suppose there could be an occasional mistake. The breeder can always use a magnifying glass which helps.

Good luck finding what you're looking for. Remember, that if you get a 25 gram gecko instead of a 15 gram one, it may only be a matter of a month or so different in age.
