I'm so excited! I bought an Extreme Orange Harley from Nicole @ Crowned Royal. This is my baby I of course, dont have her yet...and dont know when I'll get a break with the weather...but (S)HE'S MINE!!!! And I can not wait

i got a 4 oz bag from pangea when i got my gecko form them. iv had my gecko for id say about a month ina half 2 months and i still have about half the bag. i only have one crested so this is my experience. i also got my gecko at about a month or two old.

BTW yeah 3 grams is reeeally small so I'd definately assume the colors are only going to get more vivid. congrats again

I would order from Pangeareptile.com.

I would start out ordering a half pound of the base diet, and a couple different flavors of the quarter pound size. That way you have a couple flavors if you figure out s/he doesn't like a flavor.

I would probably go with one banana flavor (seems to be the most liked among mine) and one other flavor. A couple of my cresties are picky - one doesn't really care for mango, and the other doesn't like passionfruit. Apparently the rose and cherry flavors are really popular too, but it looks like they may be out of it at the moment.

A pound of CGD (half base, half nectar) could last you easily 3 or 4 months if you aren't overfeeding too much. Most people tend to give them a lot more food than they actually eat. Try to gage when you need to buy food, but I usually order more when there is two bags of unopened flavor left. I like to keep some extra as backup. But for one, you should probably order more when you finish one bag of flavor.

(I havent gotten her or him yet...its still below freezing in NJ ) Pangea stated on their description that is what they use, so I jumped on it. They said the 2 part diet was for the more adventurous keeper Which I am adventurous, but I though getting a new gecko was adventurous enough for the moment, and figured I'd try the flavors the next time

I can re-order a flavor if thats what you recommend. Pangea is SUPER great about getting their orders out, I placed my order and got it 2 days later!

The one part diet does have a flavor, or rather a mix of flavors (I believe). I think your gecko will do fine on it because it came from a breeder and more than likely has already been eating it.

My first two crested geckos also came from chain pet stores and were being fed baby food there. I started out with the store-bought bottled Repashy CGG (possibly the same flavor) and didn't have much luck with it, even after adding honey. I tried the two-part diet after ordering it online and both of them went crazy for it right away. Maybe it just has a stronger flavor? Whatever the case, it got them eating healthy and I've stuck to the flavors for that reason. By now, they probably could be switched over to the one part diet if I wanted to do so.

You'll probably be fine though because the gecko should already be used to the CGD. If you are having difficulty though, you can always try a new flavor.

But yeah, Pangea is pure awesome.
