The problem is, I'm worried that she isn't eating enough cuz ever since I got her, she wont eat anything but waxworms and will not touch the mealies or crickets. She has lost some weight, but I have seen skinneir geckos on here than her, and idk if she is healthy looking or not.

Beautiful pics :sweetheart:

As long as she has a nice plump tail, she is a healthy weight ;) Based on your pics, i'd say you have nothing to worry about, that tail is huge!!!!!!!!!! If I had to make an educated guess, I would say she's at least 60 grams, she looks the same size as one of ours..possibly larger!

Although there should be something you can do about your waxworm problem, waxworms are like crack for geckos. Try doing a search, there's been a lot of discussions on how to start feeding your leo less waxies and more cricks and mealies ;)

I LOVE her eyes!

How many leos do you own? I like you second leo in the pic too!!

I can't wait untill my leos get to be that big. Right now I have a 11 month old leo and two 2 month old leos...

very cute pictures! Take her off the waxies for a while then put some crickets in with her. SHe might just be gettin lazy and not want to chase the crickets. So you can try pulling the back legs off the crickets to slow them down. SHe'll eat when she's hungry. Right now she looks great to me.

Great idea :main_thumbsup:
Adult geckos also eat less, and don't necessarily eat everyday. Don't worry too much if she goes 1 or 2 days without eating anything, it's pretty normal ;) it's also normal for an adult gecko's weight to fluctuate, as long as weight lost isn't too significant

Thanks for the comments! I have crickets in the tank 24-7 and have had Daisy for 2, 2 1/2 weeks now and she still wont eat any crickets. The waxworms she will eat, but she tries to grab the mealies, but doesnt get it then walks away. Im worried cuz her tail isnt as fat as it looks. Ill post another, better pic.
