Sometimes Herman goes crazy

I've mentioned Herman stares at shiny things. I don't know why. Well the other day I filled his water, and I could see a little glint on the side of the dish. He went raptor on me. This is the end of his behavior. It was much worse. The tail was straight up in the air doing the same thing. I told him to settle down, but he wouldn't.

I should mention the light is off in the room and his heat bulb is on.

Tiamat does that sometimes when I put a new object in her tank. Or if I startle her.
