Sooooo Sad

I Had a female Leopard Gecko named Bella. She always seemed so healthy ,then after her last shed she stopped eating.I noticed blood in her abdomen and in her mouth.I took her to the vet where he xrayed her gave her antibiotics fluids under the skin vit B shot..The xrays showed no sand no eggs just a build up of fluid..3 or 4 hours later she died .I am so sad the vet called and said he really has no answers,Has anyone gone through this I am so sad and feel as though I let her down she was so beautiful and gentle,I need answers...I am just heart broken

I recently lost my first gecko Nicole in October, and I understand how hard it can be. Unfortunately sometimes these things happen and sometimes they are fine one day and very sick the next. You should not beat yourself up over the fact that you think you let her down. You did the right thing by taking her to the vet and that was all you could have done. I'm sorry for your loss.

so sorry for your loss you did the best and only thing you could have by taking her to the vet. There arent always answers as to why things just happen , dont beat yourself up your a good owner for what you did to help her.

Im sure it wasn't your fault, you did what you had to do and brought her to the vet, and unfortunatly there was nothing you could do so don't be so hard on yourself, sadly there was just nothing you could do
