I recently ordered 2 geckos from a website. One of them arrived very unhealthy and lethargic.. died within the first week. The second one was a Baby blizzard and appeared to be very healthy. I have had him (or her) for two weeks now and have seen vomit, loose bowels, loss of appetite, weight loss and skin abnormalitles. Now I am terrified to handle the baby in fear of spreading parasites to my others b/c there is a sore on the underside of the gecko. At first the skin had a white patchy looking mark and now its a dark red bumpy sore. I do not know if the vet can do anything b/c there arent very many stools lately to do a smear test and it weighs under 6 grams so there can be no blood taken. The baby now has its appetite back and is eating a few crickets each day. I cannot get a picture of its belly b/c its a very quick and aggressive towards me (its so young and imo too small for shipping) Does anyone know what this could be? I have read about Crypto but sores are not a symptom. PLease any info would help... I feel so bad for this little guy.
