Hi guys. My leopard gecko is nearly two months old. I went away on a sceince research project for 9 days and left my little guy in the 'capable' hands of a housemate.
Came back home and although he had been fed and tank temps were fine, there was no water in the bowl, the cool/damp cave was dry and he had apparantly shed his skin (although their was a fair amount of flakey/dead skin on his eyes and nose which I removed carefully with a damp clean cotton bud.
However, after a week his left eye seems to be more closed than the other and doesnt seem to recognise feeding cricket movement infront of him. He is very active and is always out and about.

weight is fine but im worried about him. Could there be an eye infection caused by shedded skin irritation, or maybie a parasite problem...
Please help, im stumped on this and I want the best for my little guy
