We have Neocalgluconate we got from the vet when we noticed our Uro was showing signs of MBD. Gave him .25 cc for 4 days and all the symptoms were gone. Now we give him a small dose about every 10 days (he's a picky eater) and have no signs of relapse.
Its great to have on hand.
Half an ounce cost $11 and will last us forever.

I am curious, what is the calcium content of Neocalgluconate?

I'm not sure what the concentration is, but it's extremely high. You don't need much. It's also called Calcionate Syrup. I found some on ebay last year.

I've found that waxworms dusted with Zoo Med Repti Calcium w/ D3 cures MBD very well without any liquid supplements. I've got one juvenile that was limping around, all twisted up and barely eating. After a few weeks on the dusted waxies every other night, he's chasing crickets now and his limbs are almost back to normal. This gecko has completely forgotten he ever had MBD... acts like it didn't happen.

If they'll eat phoenix worms those are even better, but some geckos don't like them.
