This morning I found a good size spider in Slinky's tank (my male) happily spinning a little web!! I removed it and ascorted it (unharmed) to my back yard.
I never thought of this before, but I never put the screen top on any of their cages. So I guess any sort of bug or maybe even a mouse could easily get in there and not be able to get out!
I have heard of leos dieing from eating spiders!!
And I shudder to think of the possible damage a mouse could do!
And we do get them in the house sometimes.
From now on the screen tops go on the tanks at night :main_yes:
