SS or SSE?

This little guy hatched out today and i'm not sure if he's a SS or a SS Eclipse. The mother is a definite Eclipse and father is a ph Eclipse. Curious because of the little bit of white nose along with the white sides.

Very nice. Eclipse has white nose so I'd say yes.

i would say SS for now. most of the SSEs that i have seen or own all have a very pronounced white nose and white legs. you should be able to tell for sure as he/she gets older. and if its still up in the air, you can test breed. very nice leo, congrats!

That is why it has me guessing from all the pics i've seen, it'd be my first SSE if it turns out.

Super Snow's express solid black eyes but it is not the same as the Eclipse gene.

So now that it's been a few days it's about to shed, and the nose is looking mighty white, might have to keep this guy.

Thats hard to say. I have hatched many SS that had even more white on their nose than that which had no eclipse at all. But I also have hatched proven SSE which had less white on the nose than that. The nose is a sign but not a guarantee. The only way to know is to prove it out. IMHO I would personally say it is a SS.
