started a new tank for my leos this weekend. right now each of them is separate in smaller tanks, thought they deserved an upgrade. the one female will def be going in this tank, the other one is unsexed but if its a female, she will also go in the new one. i am building my own "rock" features out of foam, grout, and textured paint, then adding in a few hides that i already had. so a total of two moist hides, one to two warm dry hides, one big cool hide and the stump in the middle is also a large hide. also adding some fake plants and a background to make it look more natural and not so bare. oh, also two food bowls (with calc) and two water bowls. i'm gonna buy a nice looking stand for it today and have it displayed in my living room. here is a pic of it, not done obviously but i will update with more pics this weekend when it's closer to being done! the substrate is one layer of repti carpet with a microfiber kitchen rug on top of that. the rug is flame resistant, thin, machine washable and has no loops. (it feels kinda velvety actually, i think its perfect). anyways, lemme know what you think?!

That does look really nice. I like the spiral staircase.

Just one suggestion. After doing mine, my gecko doesn't like the really open side (for your set up, the left side) because it's never really dark. You do have a hide there, but if you want to see your gecko out in the open at all, I'd suggest closing up that side a bit.

I really do think this looks great, though. Good luck with the grouting and painting!

Ok, it's all done pretty much. Might get a different water bowl and add a few more features and hiding spots later but for now Bella has plenty to climb on and hide in. I think she is much happier than when she was in the boring quarantine bin :) First thing she did when i first put her in there was climb on top of the stump and look around at her new home. Then she climbed and explored EVERYTHING.

thanks guys! my leo loves it too! she seems a lot less stressed being in this tank versus the "hospital room"-ish quarantine bin she was in for 6 weeks after i got her. she comes out in the open now, eats better, and is less skiddish when i handle her. so worth it!
