Starting to get out of hand

So I've had issues with feedings when it comes to my two youngest, Dante and Obi. Neither really eat much, and when one of them does...needless to say when it makes it's exit, it's whole. No digesting, period.

So here's what I've done so far.

1 -Moved them from a tank where the temp was a consistant 81-82 degrees.
2 -Put them in a bigger tank where the temps are 90 degrees during the day and about 85 at night.
3 - I've seperated them when they eat from day one so one does not get more than the other one.

At this point one hasn't eatten in a week and the other eats maybe a cricket or two a week but passes it whole. What is going on here? I've never had issues like this before? So frustrating! :main_no:

Create a temperature gradient. You're going to want one side of the cage to be about 95, and the other can be room temperature. This way your gecko can choose where it wants to be when it needs to warm up or cool down.

I have that for the most part. It is a 20 gallon tank that is seperated into 2 sides. The heat lamp is in the middle so the ends are cooler. Plus there's moist hides in those ends.

Just a quick question but is it the air temperature your measuring or the floor temp? and if nothing else I would try switching to an under tank heater instead of a lamp.

While air temp is important, they need belly heat to help digest their food. Most people on here will tell you floor temps should be about 95-97 degrees on the warm side.

if that's the air temp I imagine the floor is quite a bit hotter. I would definitely turn it down, if you don't have a rheostat or thermostat I would suggest simply raising the lamp higher. I keep my floor temps at 96-97* in the warm area and anywhere from 70-90 elsewhere. Depending on how high up your measuring the air temperature the floor could be A LOT higher.

I've checked out the floor temp and put in another thermometer so I could moniter it better. I'm really starting to worry about the blizzard as he is starting to loose weight, his color in his face is changing, and he shows absolutly no interest in food. This has been going on for a week and a half now.

Do anyone have the reciepe for the slurry? I found a dead link on here, but that was all.
