Is a still air hovabator okay or do I need to get one with a circulating fan?

Does everyone have a high hatching success rate with these even with the solid state thermostat?

I could be wrong but I think I have read that you should not use the type with a fan because the temps stay too high. I use the still air.

DO NOT, use the Turbo Fan model. It dries out eggs terribly. And I use two Hovas along with my Helix's. They work great.

As already mentioned, you will want to stick with the still air models. The turbo fans will dry your eggs out. I assume you could just spray the cups daily and keep water bags or bowls filled in the incubator, but this just adds more time consuming efforts. Personal opinion that is.

It's just a lot easier to check every few days and make sure the bags or cups of water are doing ok. and to occassionall spray water into the deli cups.
