i also am having this problem. i have had mine about 3 days. i didnt realise it was normal for them to not eat when in a new home. i have been handling him a lot and using tongs. i will stop and leave him to it. He looks healthy though, he has a lovely fat tail and is only 5 months old.

yeah, i've read that its best to leave him be untill he starts eating regularly, and gradually let him crawl over your hand in his enclosure. and after a week or two doing this, then gradually handle him every now and then, but not all the time. thats just what i heard and i will try this once he starts eating on a regular basis, while i am in the room. every time i walk in there, he crawls to his hide and pops his head out the opening, lol

thata what mines like, ill walk in and he shoots into his house. A good thing to give him if hes not eating though (in my inexperianced opinion) is waxworms. i know there not all that healthy, but im assuming it will get them in the habit of eating regularily

^sure do, i put waxworms in and that was what finally got him to eat, second night was mealies and waxworms, and this is the third night, all mealies (but if you read my thread about mealies on steroids, i doubt he will eat these ones.)
