So we've been incubating at 80 degrees for our emerine redstripes, and today is day 62 and still no hatchlings from the first clutch. They eggs have gotten larger since being laid, both have a pinkish glow and veins can be seen, only thing is I don't see any fetal movement. Infact I don't reallly see anything in the one egg, I just passed it off as just a bad angle when candeling.

Is incubation time longer than 60 days at 80 degrees? Just wondering if I'm waiting on these guys and they're not set to hatch until around day 70 or something. Or if I should crack them open at some point to see what's going on?

A few years ago I had a clutch incubating at 80 that took 65 days. Babies were fine. I no longer incubate that low because I worry it will get too low.
