another bad story..
I honestly can't believe it:
Yesterday on my way home to germany, someone stole my notebook in the train when I was sleeping right from my hands
. I usually always have my notebook and other important things in my bags, but this day was different: I just finished my veterinary exams for this year: It was a very long and hard period, the last weeks I had less than 4 or 5 hours sleep per night..
Also, everything was so hectic and caotic on that day, and I was so tired, nervous, and my bag was so heavy that I had to take the lift instead of the stairs on my way to the platform. Because of that, I was 1 minute too late, and I missed my train. The employee told me that I would loose all the money for the ticket (which was over 100 euros), and that there would be another train in an hour, but that I would not be possible to make a booking.
So, I wqs running from one person to another, discussing, appealing, and telling them that I just have to get on that train. At the end, I was really in despair, because I would have missed the 25th wedding day of my parents!!!
Finally, 10 minutes before the next and last train of that day was departed, I got a new ticket, but I had to pay another 100 euros.
I am very exhausted in general right now, and missing the train and all the trouble alround made me feel even worser.. I remember that I was finally sitting in that train, quavering because of the effort and commotions. So, I tried to cool down by trying to finish a text on the notebook. I must have ben so tired that I accidentally fall asleep, and I slept so deep that I did not recognized anything..
When I woke up, I recognized that my notebook was missing. We searched on the whole train, but without luck. Even the police told me that there is very little chance of getting it back.. I paid 200 euros, and I lost my notebook which I bought for 600 euros. This is by far too much money for a student, and I honestly don't know what I will do the next months without a notebook..
Now the worst part is that I have lost almost ALL of my Gecko Breeding Datas, because shortly before my journey my VERY old PC broke down, and I did not took the time besides the exams to copy everything on cd..
I'm so angry about myself. How can someone be so stupid!!!
I was crying alll the time the last days- most of my datas will be lost forever: All my texts, my pics of old projects aswell as baby pics of my dog :main_no: , and my first and only hatchling video of a leopard in 8 breeding years ..
I'm so shocked and ashamed, because I am a very carefull person, and I never thought that something like this could ever happen to me..
