It was like that when i got him. I thought tails only disconnected near the base so im wondering the same thing. Ill be sure to start a thread about it if or when it grows back.

oh no iv seen many geckos and cresties drop their tails in random places. maybe another baby grabbed hold of it thinking it was food or it could have got the end trapped? well never know.
it will grow back though

also please make sure that bamboo tunnel thing is secure or trapped against something, as it could easily roll over while they are on it and crush them

They're cute! Make sure they don't drown in their deep water dish. I see you only filled it half way. That's good :main_yes: For such little babies, I always use shallow lids.
