My male seems to acting rather strange today. He is laying outside of his hide and when I tap on the class he has no response. Then I tried tapping on the top of the screen which usually freaks him out still no response. So I put my hand in there and picked him up he seems fine in my hand..... As soon as I let him back down though he scurries a few inches and stops and lays back down. He seems to act rather lethargic too muchly so for him. He is also never outside of his hide untill very late at night. He acts as if he has no energy or something. Do you have any idea why he is acting like this? Is there something wrong with him?

Leos do this kind of stuff :main_rolleyes: About 6 months after i got my gecko she decided to sit in a corner of her tank, out in the open 24/7 for a solid month or two. She was lethargic and acted very strange. Sure enough she was perfectly healthy and returned back to normal after awhile.

Leos don't hibernate but they can and will become less active from time to time. I have some geckos that stay in their hides most of the day. They come out to eat at night and go back in their hides. As long as the temps are stable and eating, your gecko should be fine.

Daniel has been pretty busy, so I'll reply :main_laugh:
Apollo (the male) is back to acting normal. We do think that he just got a bit too cold that morning and now that the heat is back up and stable he's doing just fine:main_thumbsup:

Thanks everyone for the information and support!
