Here is my ruby-eyed Snow Raptor girl Charah:

She hatched tiny, tiny with a 90 degree angled tail from a totally dented egg (I thought there cannot be a live baby in there). But -- surprise!! -- after a few weeks, the tail kink vanished. It was just from not having had enough room in the egg!

This is her hatchling picture from April 24th:

I'm glad I didn't cull her or adopt her out. Sometimes, it pays off to wait. She's my avatar's daughter, sister of Tabea, MS Tremper.

That's pretty amazing. I hatched one from a small egg that looked similar. I put her down after a couple days when she just wasn't strong enough to stand on her legs. I'm glad yours is doing so well.

I remember seeing the picture of this poor kid with her bent tail and feeling really bad for her... it's really great to see how well she turned out! She is a beauty. Patience does pay off.
