Strange thing in head.

Yesterday, this thing appeared in my gecko's head. What could it be?

Do you mean the black spots? If so, some geckos that initially lose all their spots get some back as they get older. If you mean something else. I can't see it.

That is what I was thinking, a mite or small tick maybe? Or it could just be a tubercle that developed some color. What happens it you rub it?

Edit: Here is your picture with the spot I am looking at circled.

Yes, is that little thing. It seems to be a little red and is salient(i dont know if this is the correct word in english). Like a.... i dont know. xD

And i already tried gently to rub it with my finger, but that doesnt get out.

Oh, I see it now! And yes, salient is the right word (meaning to stick out at an angle). Is it a tick? That is my guess.

I dont think so, and im almost certain that is not a insect.

It is probably just a tubercle that developed some color then, nothing to worry about.

You mean shed?

It still looks like a mite to me? Did you look at it with a magnifying glass? Not sure if that would help or not? A Mite is my guess...Can you take tweezers and pull it off?

PS I wouldnt try the tweezer thing unless someone else agrees with me

*lol* I'm not too sure what it is. But I don't think I'd start pulling things off

Glad its gone, I'd clean the cage real good just in case whatever it was or is is still in there and thinking about clinging on again.
