ive always read that you shouldnt handle a young leopard gecko alot as they will get stressed. but what are the signs that they are stressed? ive got a young leopard gecko. had it 4 weeks. it seems fine being handled, its on my bed right now climbing all over me. it not trying to run away and is just walking slowly/casually over me

Is it eating? Juvis get stressed in a new home and tend not to eat for a while as a result.
I'm guessing it feels comfortable around you if its walking over you, which is nice :)
What I tend to do to gain their trust is coat my finger tip in calci dust (or whatever you use) and let it lick it off.

Enjoy your new little one :)

Unfortunately animals like these hide signs of stress and illness until its too late.
Keep handling down to a about 10 minutes a day and you should be okay.

yeah its eating. its ate every night since i got it. although now its decided it doesnt want to eat the dubia roaches and would rather eat locusts. so i think it only had one locust last night.(all i had left from a pack of 50). i mean it doesnt looked stressed or anything to me when ive got it out and sometimes after ive put it back in the tank it wants to come back out
