Stripe?

Hey, about 2 months ago I ended up adopting 3 juvenile geckos that family left at ***** before they moved because they couldn;t take them with them. One was a really nice SHTCT, a Tremper, and the last one was just a low grade tragerine/normal with tang influence with a regrenerated tail but it was the friendliest and had a cute little personality so I took her to. The two best parts two were they are all female and I paid exactly $0 for some great leos lol!

Well they have all grown alot since then and two day i noticed something on the one with the regenerated tail that I've come to call Stubby. Is this some type of form of stripe? It starts witha stripe done the geckos spine, two darker stripes on the sides of that, then two lighter stripes right before you reach the stomach.

I've been guessing this is either stripe of reverse as I'm still not good at picking out the different kinds of stripes from one another other than albino reveres and bold stripes because they stick out so much. This is the best shot I could gecko of this because the flash messes up the pattern and no flash just makes it blurry. Any thoughts?

A lot of leopard geckos have a line that runs down the middle of their backs and often have a pattern on either side of the line that looks like a piece of paper was folded and the line on the back is the fold. Your gecko looks like she was born with black and yellow/orange horizontal bands. Some people call a gecko like yours, with the prominent line down the middle a "dorsal stripe", but I suspect she is not a true stripe, in which case she would have been born with black bands running the length of her body instead of the width.

Ok thanks. I've never head og bands going the width of the body, that different lol. Ya alot of my geckos have that line down the middle and I never think anything of it but it stuck out on her because of her bands and stuff. I might do a test breeding with her and my raptor to see if she really has the stripe gene or not. If she doesn't I'll just get some nice hets but if she is I'll get stripes and jungles 100% het. for raptor right?
