Stripes

I have looked at a few forums concerning stripes, and have talked to people about them as well, but I’m not sure if I completely understand them, yet. The main three stripe patterns that I’m interested are banded, reverse stripe, and jungle. Any answer to the following questions would help me.

I believe that the jungle pattern came from the wild at first, and was then line-breed. And even though line breed acts as a recessive trait. Is all this correct?

Then a banded isn’t really anything, since most leopard geckos are banded anyways?

Then the reverse stripe was line breed from the jungle strip?

Also I believe that only one stripe pattern can show up at in the leopard geckos phenotype at once, since they all came from the same pre-dominate jungle pattern. Am I right on this or totally wrong? I hope I’m wrong, because it confesses me. I guess I compare it to a blizzard and a midnight blizzard. If you breed two together you would get something in between the black and the white. Even though they both come from the pre-dominate blizzard morph. So if you breed a reverse stripe and a jungle phase together, I would think that you would get something in-between, even though I don’t know what this would be.

Also to breed a jungle phase into another morph. Such as a mack snow. All you would do is breed a mack snow or super snow to a jungle. Then the offspring back together. Then you should get some of them that show a varying degree of the jungle pattern. Then you would have to selectively breed the best ones to the best ones, to make the best jungle pattern, mack snow or mack super snow???

Thanks for all your help, and agian any answer at all would help me out.
