I am hopeful that I will be getting a few pairs of geckos from duane (tangerineman) around christmas time. I already no what I'm dong with the sunglow and mac snow, but there is a male bold stripe 50% het RAPTROr, and a female patternless stripe 50% het RAPTOr. I figured I would breed them, since I have no other stripes to pair them with... anyways, what will I get. I am curiouse about both possiblities (having both be het RAPTOR, and having one or none be het.) I am new to stripes, and the compatibility of different striped genes is slighly confusing me. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

well is it 50% poss het RAPTOR ? i would assume so. first you need to breed to see if it is actually het for RAPTOR but Stripes are pretty much a line trait. pretty much same as SHTCT

I can't tell you about the raptor part, but bold stripe x patternless stripe will likely yield anything from jungle to patternless stripe. I have had a great time with this cross. I don't think it's entirely clear as to whether stripes are line bred or genetic. I'm suspecting a genetic component because, as I've posted before, my banded Tremper albino male produced 50% stripes when bred to a stripe and produced about 30% jungles when bred to his SHTCT daughter.
