Update on the little guy I bought from the kid at the pet store for 10$,
well for the last 2 weeks, he has been doing ok i took him to the vet to get a check up on him ( previous he had already gained 6 grams) he was up to 15 grams, and was looking pretty good, not real active or anything, but anyways i took him to the vet and, after a few tests he informed me that stubs had a sever case of viral infection that would need to be treated, he wanted to keep him overnight, i agreed and went home not very happy because this is the first night i had been away from him since i got him, i got home and was cleaning out his cage to have it all ready for him to come home, and the vet called and told me that the infection had got so bad that he could not treat it, that stubs would need to be put down :main_huh:, I really dont understand he was doing good for the time that i have had him, eating drinking, even licking calcium from his bowl, i asked the vet if there was anything else he could do, and he said that he could not suggest anything because stubs was so undersized that there was nothing that could be done because his body was so infected, so now stubs is gone, i grew so attached to that little guy, i dunno what to do now:main_huh: he was the first male i have had since raptor died after 13 yrs:main_no:. i dont think males like me much. so now i have an empty cage thats gonna be hard to fill again. as well as a space in my heart.
