Well Kel, next christening is to be pooped on :)

I would almost always rather be bitten than pooped on or vomited at.

Especially with the ones that twist around and aim their expulsions at your face, it's an instinctive behavior- that fecal sniper style- crapping on a predator is more effective for escaping if it gets in their eyes or mouth.

Although there are some species that will do all three simultaneously, which isn't fun either. Having fish parts puked up INTO the open wound they just made while biting, followed by a spray of crap that makes everything slick and greasy with oily poop.

... yeah, leopard geckos are a pleasure to handle when it comes up. Really.

Tara and Laney thanks a lot for the "HA she finally got bit :) : guess I've been christened. It wasn't bad or painful at all. Just like you said Laney... more of a surprise than anything. It was like did he just actually bite me? There was a little row of red marks where his "teeth" had hit me, but it's gone already.

I wasnt saying Ha. I havent been "initiated" with a bite yet...so I have to say Im still a big scaredy cat! I was relieved when you said it didnt hurt, but then I read the reply from Gothra....yea.....thanks;)
