stuck shed on head

my gecko had a rough shed this week and still has skin stuck on his face and eyes. i got a moist hide for him to help loosen the skin and have been trying to rub water on the skin to loosen it up but it's pretty stuck and i don't want it stuck for too long.
any suggestions on what else i can do to help get this shed off him??

Warm soaks and a Q-tip. EXTREMLEY careful around the eyes.
