I know that this is old old thread.. but it is so funny and true!
when i talk about my leopard geckos or my crestie, my coworker would look at me wierd and say " you got a pet lizard" like it is weird that a grown woman of 35 yrs old owning a lizard...
and then they would say it is poisonous...i was like no it's not
that is similar response that i had when i mentioned that i raised rats (this was few years ago) and people was like you got a pet rat? and ask all kind of wierd questions
