I was wondering what your guys's opinions are about incubation substrate? I was going to buy the fir & sphagnum peat moss mixture by zilla, but when I went to petsmart they were out, or just didnt carry it, so I bought bed-a-beast, is this okay for incubation subtrate, or sould I add the peat moss mixture as well, or should I just do the ppeat moss mixture? I dont have any eggs yet, but just wanted everything to be ready for when my girls started to have their eggs.

Thanks

ive never used a premade incubation mix, and im sure 95% of breeders use vermiculite or perlite. id say to any body that cant choose which one, incubate a clutch of eggs in each and see what one you like better

Lowe's around here has smaller bags, while Home Depot has the big 20 lb. one.
