substrate question

i currently have my geckos on eco earth but i was wondering if i could switch them over to sand since they only eat mealworms out of a dish, which decreases their impaction risk? thanks!

As you probably know, there's a great debate about sand vs. no sand. You can read some of the pro and con articles at Gecko TIme (www.geckotime.com - look for "The Great Sand Debate") but only you can make that decision. The people here who favor sand will say "yes" and the ones who don't will say "no".

thanks, that was a really good article that displayed both sides equally. i think im just gonna stick to the eco earth for now and maybe change it when they get a little older or i redo my tank again. thanks for your reply, - jake
