Substrate whats the best to use in a adult Leo?

yeah, another play sand debate. 
15 years......1 possible issue and it wasn't an impaction. Just saying.
Besides, I like watching my geckos dig instead of shred paper towels or push paper towels around.

Myself personally i think it looks nice and as long as it's changed regular and kept clean, as my other 2 was great and i used to let them run loose around the bedroom:main_laugh:yeah, another play sand debate.

Slate and Tile are not pricey, unless you consider 10 dollars per cage too much.
I don't consider slate or tiles pricey, it's how i like it in general and it's everyone to their own choice.
Cleaned Tico Cage
OK i remove the blue sand and washed the tank with luke warm water only ...
moved the heating pad to the under the tank (under the hiding log )
Removed the crickets and put them in a diff. tank with a potato...
Clean everything with warm water only no soap...and for now i put down paper towels down till i get the new cage built ....( planning on using a blue/green ceramic Tile down for the sub....
p.s waited till now to clean the tank cause Tico was Sleeping lol he's up now
looking around think i gonna let out for a bit after he eats

Scott, it looks lovely and clean mate and you do wash their things in warm water like you've done and leave them to drain.
Now the crickets here really get stuck into the apricots.lol
Well at least you know how your going to do Tico's tank, fare play mate to say you've just took him on and he's a lovely size.
You'll be waiting forever to chill after he's eaten because they're on all night at their own leisure, Blaze as'nt showed her face yet, do you spray inside with luke warm water for moisture as i spray the tree's in mine well, as they love going underneath them to take the droplets of water that fall.
