Substrate..

Hey guys and girls,

hmm i was wondering what your opinions were as to what substrate is best or recommended.

I've used sand and wood chips now but obviously sand has the impaction problem and I was told that wood chips will damage their feet :main_huh:

any ideas?

p.s want a natural looking tank or as much as possible.

Paper towel is the safest.

Tile is also safe, but looks natural, easy to clean.

Reptile carpet is also safe, and I got a light tan color and it looks very natural, semi hard to clean.

I'd say if your going for looks, tile. If you have a lot of geckos and want a quick and easy clean up, paper towels.

I've heard about tile but never actually seen it, do you have any links please?

its just normal tile from a hardware store...i have slate, it works/looks fantastic and is easy to clean

I use papel towel and Reptile Carpet from Zoo Med or Liner from Zilla, I recomend 100%.

hmmm repti carpet I've heard is good but is hard to clean and geckos get their claws caught in it?
