i have been using aspen snake bedding for my pueblan milk, but i find that he is always burrowing in it and i absolutely never see him, and i have to dig him out in order to handle him and to put him in his feeding tank. i was thinking of switching to repti carpet, my question is, i know that pueblans are natural burrowers, would making the switch be bad, or would it be fine?

I used the carpet before. Your milk will most likely not like it as well as the aspen bedding, but there shouldn't be any problems because of it. Keep in mind though that getting poo out of those carpets can be a little difficult at times. I actually use paper towel in all my snake enclosures and it works great for me, so that's another option you could consider.

They like to burrow, I keep my pueblan on newspaper, he goes under it, well all my snakes except the pythons do. They like to hide, if they cant hide they would get stressed.
