Subtrate problem

I have been using bed-a-beast on the bottom of my cresties enclosure and this morning I noticed a problem. We seem to have an ant problem. They are teeny tiny little brown ants. I immediatly took all of his subtrate out and vaccumed his enclosure. We have grouted tile in the bottom but I was worried that the tile wasn't an adiquate for him. Does anyone have any suggestions what I should do. I worry that the little ants will bite him. I can't find any in any other part of the house. Could the ants have been in the bed-a-beast? Also our house is sort of dry so I mist his enclosure several times a day to keep the humidity up and I wasn't sure how that would work with just tile. Any suggestions is appreciated. Thanks

Yikes! I hate ants... We just use paper towels in the bottoms. You could layer them a few thick on top of the tile so that they hold moisture longer. We also have humid hides/laying boxes with moist coco husk in each tank.

My guys are real small so i just have paper towel down there for now. It doesnt look that great but it does a good job. If you layer it, it holds moisture pretty well.

I will try the paper towels. I am not as concerned with looks as I am about the ants possibly biting him. My husband got some ant killer and put on the floor under the enclosure so hopefully the little demons go there. I also put 2 humidity hides in there so hopefully that will work. Thanks for the advice.
