I have had the sweetest sara for about five years now. He has always been very social, great with handling, and loves coming out to say hi.
About 8 months ago, he started getting really flighty. Now, even if I try to do basic things like spraying, he will go nuts - zooming around and jumping. It's so intense that he has gotten terrible nose rub from banging into the glass. The vet provided me with antiseptic and a barrier gel, but he keeps re-injuring himself.
Any thoughts on what could cause this? There were no environmental changes when it first happened. His humidity is between 60-80, temperature is 22 (71f) with a basking light of 26 (79f) during the day. The terrarium is 2x2x3f with lots of hides, branches, and leaf cover.
Any thoughts would be appreciated!
