On a side note, I was in one of the chain pet stores today eyeballing some Conures. They're hard to resist.

hand fed and raised ones (conures) are awesome! they are total sweethearts and funny! i wouldn't get one from a chain pet store though hehe we got ours from a mom and pop pet store. her breeders are private breeders. we actually got to hand feed one of them for about a month. the other we bought a bit later and was it's cage mate and the same age but not related! scvooter and doodle, the conures are awesome!

Wow! How beautiful! I was thinking about getting a bird =] Rusty wants an African Grey.

greys are very cool but a HUGE commitment, they live a very long life and a lot of times are one person birds. they are absolutely beautiful though and very intelligent and make great companions.
