I have a male Sunglow het RAPTOR x APTOR het RAPTOR that produced what appears to be a Sunglow Eclipse last Sept. I was first inclined to call it a banded RAPTOR but after looking at its baby pic again and its subadult pics now, it definitely falls in line with Sunglow. Also even banded RAPTORs look much different.
Also the hatch mate looks very similar but no eclipse eyes.

Do you agree this is a Sunglow Eclipse ?
Also does this mean both parents may be het Eclipse but not necessarily het RAPTOR?

Im still learning all the ins and outs of all the varies morphs.
why do not think sunglow?
She is still changing and Hypo-ing out. If she looses the white bands would you think Sunglow?

Thanks for your input

doesnt matter she would still be a raptor. a sunglow is a hypo tremper. a banded raptor that hypos out is still a baned hypoed out raptor aka tremper eclipse

Thx
I think I understand.
So she IS a banded RAPTOR (tremper eclipse) because she has bands and does not express the Patternless stripe of a true RAPTOR. Correct?

BTW has anyone produced Sunglow Eclipse? or is that just an incorrect morph description.
