Okay so you get Tangerine albino's from mixing the offspring of a tang x tremper back to parent?
and sunglows are shtcb x tremper- offsrping back to parent tremper?

Since Hypo and Super Hypo are line bred, you may have to selectively breed the SHTCT het Tremper offspring to each other. If you breed back to a banded Albino parent you're going to take a step backward with the pattern.

Thanks for the knowledge. I jsut bred my SHTx Tremper albino and didnt actually know that, now I will have something to do with the offspring.

Well i dont think you can get the sunglow morph from a tang x tremper. i think for sunglow it has to be shtcb x tremper than you use best offspring of that pair and breed .

it gets very confusing! my head hurts. I have to check through older post i think paul told me how to do it when i find it i will post it for you.

But i am also working on that tang tremper cross.

this is what i was told by paul a while back.

You get sunglows from SHTCTB and albino mixed. The first generation hatches (S)HTCT(B) het albino and mixing them give a few sunglows

I don't know why this is but of all of the Sunglows we've hatched, the ones with more pattern and darker bodies had much nicer colors. I tended to gravitate towards those rather than the completely patternless ones. It's a matter of personal preference I think. If you took a poll to see whether people woule rather have a super orange Tang. Albino or a less colorful one with 0 pattern, I bet the results would be really split. What I'm trying to say is, make it however you want. lol

"Sunglow" is interchangeable with "Hybino" or "Tang. Hybino". Hybino = Hypo Albino, Hypo meaning reduced pattern. So a Hybino or Sunglow can still have some pattern.

Here are some pics of them. They weren't supose to breed yet, but got my off guard n did. Tremper is banded but i think she has reduced spotting. i take your opinion on it.

Does it just work with SHTCB or could I use a SHT? I wasnt really planning on trying to create suglows, but if it was possible, that would be cool.

but doesnt that couse health problems?

Inbreeding, also called line-breeding, can /possibly/ be harmful if you never outcross once every few generations (after 3-5).

I've heard that tail kinks are the only prominent line breeding issues that come up. But still, outcrossing can help bring in new genetic material without compromising the old traits that you were breeding for.
