those big suckers look like horned caterpillars.
So your geckos have no problem handling the horn?
Wonder how the fat content is of those buggers. Sure do make a big snack thats for sure. lol
Great pics

thanks every one!! he veries in wieght from 135ish down to 115 and back up. the worms are giant horned worms and they are my fave color as well lol. and if you feel the horns they're accually pretty soft and really dont hurt the animals. all my insectivorious animals LOVE them!! and i like the 3rd pic the most as well

The only hornworms I ever see are tomato hornworms ( Manduca quinquemaculata).. they devour my tomato plants.

yeah paul, thats them they are the same thing, but dont feed them out of your garden. the tomato plants that they eat make them poisionous. but i get mine from mullberry farms, and they made a giant hornworm chow that makes them safe.

That's AWESOME!! We'll have to get some for our 125 gram boy now that you have given us the idea! Maybe then he can have an actual meal instead of just a snack :main_laugh:

Yeah, my dad doesn't get these worms on his tomatos anymore:main_angry: The box turtles used to indulge in these goodies.

I LOVE picture #2!!!!

Cute pics! I agree. I like the 3rd pic best, as well! What he lacks in manners (chewing with his mouth open ;)), he makes up in cuteness! :main_laugh: He's pretty freakin' cute, Nevin!

btw, those worms really are quite pretty.....for worms. :main_yes::D:main_laugh::main_rolleyes:

jay, your right, the moths are HUGE. i used to give them to my tokays all the time, i left one in a cage and put the cage in the closet not knowing it was in there cause i took the tokays out. 3 or 4 months later i pulled the cage out and this huge beautiful moth came tearing out of it.

and mari thanks so much, he is just as sweet as he is cute. he smiles more than any other gecko ive ever seen
