Super glue and hatchling temps?

I am setting up a shelf of plastic containers to house hatchlings in. The containers I have are not very tall so I want to cut out a large hole in the middle of the lids and glue screen over it to let in fresh air. My question is what kind of glue should I use? Is it safe to use super glue? Is there some other way of attaching the screen that Im just not thinking of? Also how hot do you guys keep your hatchlings? I have heat cable running under the boxes down the back of the shelf, I just want to make sure it is getting hot enough for the little guys to thrive.

i preffer belly heat for all my leos but im not to sure about super glue

It will be belly heat. The cable runs under the boxes on the back half.

I would probably try a glue gun. Super glue just seems bad for some reason.

I agree. Hot Glue is the way to go!
