This is a new rescue from our local reptile shop. We think that he is Super Mack Snow. He 7-8 inches and think he is a sub-adult. Is there any way to tell how old he is? It also appears that something is in his eyes. Would it be okay it wash his eyes out with saline?

The white spot is what is in his eye. That is not the refelction of the flash of the camera.

He is not a Super Snow, they do not have yellow on them. He is probably a Reverse Stripe or Reverse Stripe Mack Snow.
A nice pet store find :)

As far as age... really no way to tell since its possible he was underfed/misstreated causing him to not grow as fast, etc. 7-8 inches is pretty close to adult size, more so for females since males are a tad bit bigger.

The stuff in his eye you can try saline solution to see if it will come out but if not he will need to see a qualified reptile vet.

Certainly is not a SS. Look at the tail and you can see banding as clear as day. There is not even a guarantee he is a snow unless you have hatchling pics or the breeder can provide proof (which if its a "rescue" then you wouldn't get such info).
