super snows doesnt have red eyes, the have solid black eyes just like eclipse. super snow albino will have solid deep red eyes.
the solid black eyes of a super snow have nothing to do with eclipse, so if a super snow het eclipse is breeding to lets say a normal het eclipse the babies will be 50% snows and 50% normals, 25% of them will have eclipse.
but it is hard to tell which super snow is an eclipse and which one is a het, cause all of them has solid black eyes, i guess you need to breed them to check the genetics.

A way to check is generally a pied look, with patches of white instead of the typical striping. Generally a Super Snow eclipse tremper albino would be a Super RAPTOR, minus the patternless stripe. These have faint stripes, like a tremper albino super snow, and generally a pied-look with patches of white breaks in the patterning. The nonalbino is a Super Galaxy, or Total Eclipse. This morph is a super snow eclipse. The desired look for these geckos is to have an enhanced white sides, white face, white neck, and tail. This is possible with the eclipse gene causing broken patterning, and white splotches. It sounds as if the person with this gecko is hunting the Super RAPTOR, and total eclipse geckos!

There are some markers for Super Snow Eclipse. Usually the white runs all the way up the legs and part of the face/nose is white. Here is a link to a Super Snow Eclipse Enigma we hatched out to give you a visual: http://leopardgeckowiki.com/index.php?title=Super_Snow_Enigma_Eclipse

So a super snow albino hatcling is completely white? ? I bred super raptor possible w/y to a super snow albino. Babies are all white with red eyes.

Yes. The babies you have are super snow albinos het for eclipse and W/Y. The geckos should develop a sort of faint lined pattern down their back. Like a Super Snow, only with the black being a very off-white. Visible, but faintly.

Actually what they are all super snow albinos het for eclipse. Some of them may be W&Y some may not. The W&Y trait is a dominant gene and as such theres not going to be any "het W&Y"s. But honestly I couldnt tell you how to tell which may be W&Y and which are not. :main_thumbsup:

To the OP, Heres a pick of my super RADAR for a bit of a reference of the development Maxwell was talking about. I dont really know what W&Y would do to that though (but I should know after this year..lol ;) )

Yeah, i was under the idea W/Y was a weird trait and worked in some strange ways, i new they would be super snow albinos, just not sure about the W/Y part. They develop that pattern around 5 months, from what ive heard. Im trying to produce my own Super RAPTOR, and from what ive seen, that pattern starts showing at 5 months.
