If it is labeled as a sse it very well may be. SS do not have eclipse eyes since the eclipse is a genetic mutation. A lot of people have been producing SSE as a byproduct from mack raptor, dreamsickle, and super nova projects...as well as many others. However not all SSE are actually eclipse because many newer breeders/hobbyist do not accurately distinguish the black eyed SS and the Eclipse. Same is said for blizzards.

Heres my male SS eclipse, the SS eyes and the eclipse eyes are not genetically the same. SS eclipse usually have a more speckled look and a white nose tip

why do alot of people call it the super snow eclipse when super snows automatically have eclipse eyes?

You say Eclipse super snow coz though you can't see the Eclipse trait in the eyes coz of Super snow solid eye.They are 100% expressing the Eclipse traitthey are (HOM)Eclipse and (HOM)Super snow.This will be shown in breeding results.

Eclipse super snow X Eclipse normal = .

100%Eclipse snow SPLIT Super snow.
=======
Super snow HET Eclipse X Eclipse normal = .

50%Eclipse snow SPLIT Super snow.
50%Snow SPLIT Super snow/HET Eclipse.
=======
Super snow X Eclipse normal = .

100%Snow SPLIT Super snow/HET Eclipse.

The question wasn't how to make one. :main_no:

thanks, no nothing AB and personally the whole AB thing is just marketing. I saw 2 in person a few months back and they were just plain eclipses to me with a red vein in there eyes. I have a mack eclipse with a red vein in its eye and i have seen a few other people with eclipses having the same trait.

All three of my snake-eyed Eclipses have red veins in their eyes. From talking with people who are working with Abyssinians, this may or may not be an indicator of Ab blood. The only way to know for sure is to test breed with a Tremper that has no Eclipse blood, and if the offspring are Abs, then the parent is an Abyssinian Eclipse.

I have an Ab coming from Tremper, I will post comparison shots between him and my Eclipses when he comes.

The question wasn't how to make one.

Wasn't showing how to make them.I was showing the resuts of a Eclipse super snow being differant to super snow and though they look thhe same offspring result when bred to a Eclipse show why people say Eclipse super snow.

Almost all of mine, if not all of them (the snake eyed ones) have the red veins.:)
