I just got back from vacation. My friend that was taking care of my geckos told me a REALLY small hatchling hatched when I was gone. I didn’t really think it would be as small as it is, it actually doesn’t even register on my scale at all, the scale just sticks at 0. The pics are below, and if anybody has any tips on how to improve this hatchling chance my ears are wide open.

How does it act now? Does it seem healthy? How old is it allready? Well I would to see how it eats first. X-Small mealies will work as well. Good luck.

It acts normal, seems healthy expect the obvious, and is only 1 day old. I think I’ll order some minimealworm for him.

Well it made it a day so there is hope. If it does not eat the mealies right away you might want to try and get some of Marcia's Slurry recipe ready for the little guy to get him/her through until he is eating on it's own. Good luck keep us updated.

Nick I had one hatch out like that this year, just take your time with it and treat it like any other one. It took mine a while but he has caught up nicely.
Oh and on a side note for what ever reason this one started out better on pinhead crickets than it did on mealies. But now it eats either with no problems.

I had one hatch out around 1 gram. I just hand fed him and he's up to 3 grams now at around 2 weeks old. I've had to help him with skin on his feet, but otherwise, he's doing great. I hope your little one makes it, too.

Thanks for the help everybody. He still seems to be doing fine, and I’m pretty sure he will make it. However his clutch mate (I cut open the eggs, after it hatched hatched for a while) ended up being ¾ of the way developed and dead in the egg.

I have a beautiful Mack male that I just recently adopted from Cody that also started out very tiny so hopefully your little one will do just fine
:main_yes:
My fingers and toes are crossed for him/her
I hope that this info from Cody helps

From his adoption ad

" He was born premature and was not much bigger than a quarter. I did’t think he was going to make it but after a lot of hand feeding he was able to feed himself. As you can see from the picture he is a big boy now.

Because he was premature and so small he is missing some toes. He was too weak to shed himself and too small for me to help. His tail is also kinked. His left eye pupil points back wards but it doesn’t affect him. He was raised on mealworms but is currently feeding on superworms. Weight as of 6/14/08 is 64g."

and this is Cody's pic

I have not had time to take new pics yet and I am letting him get settled in

But as you can see-he is a big boy now and he is just as white in person as he is in the pic
He is a beautiful treasured pet
