how old should my leos be before I start feeding them full-sized superworms?

i found a pupa mealworm in their bin the other day. i can only assume this alien is gonna turn into a beetle. how can i keep this from happening? cuz i dont wanna feed the pupa to my month old leos.

i keep all my worms in oat and bran grinded up. the substrate from www.mullberryfarms.com.

Superworms: I have fed full size superworms to 11-12 gram hatchlings without any problem.

Mealworms: once the mealworms get to a certain size/age they turn into aliens. The only way to slow it down is to store mealworms in the fridge. Be sure to take them out weekly for a day so they can warm up and eat. It would also probably be good to feed your gecko warmed up mealworms so the worms will move and attract the gecko.

At 8-10 weeks mine will take a full grown super. One of the little girls could see the worm tub from hers and first thing every morning she would sit and stare- like a bird dog, until she got her worm :)

My leos are a little more than 25 grams, so I figure supers are safe (although I'll stick to the mealies while I still have them). Thanks, everybody :D
