I'm hoping it was just because of the pet store supers. I have a mealworm colony going just fine, but I got those from a reputable breeder. Attempt 2 here we go.

I'm just trying to breed these on principle now. My Leo doesn't even like them. She gobbles dubias and mealies like it's her job. The pacman loves the supers though.
