Superworm question

I know that a lot of people feed their Leos superworms. Superworms are huge, even the smaller ones, and are larger than the recommended feeding size of 3/4 the size of the Leo's head. That being the case, are Leo's still able to eat superworms comfortably? I have a 4 month old, 8 inch Leo that eats mainly crickets, but i want to add some variety. Mealworms don't move enough to get his attention. Are superworms safe?

My little girl wolfs down superworms like no tomorrow. I guess in this case, consider the rule to apply to the width of the worm, not the length.

How big is your gecko, and how many does she eat? I've noticed my leo will only eat about 2 superworms, but up to 8 or so medium size crickets, which are just smaller than his head. I just want to make sure that fewer worms is ok, since their dimensions are different.

My little girl is 5 months old and she does eat about 1-2 superworms per feeding. I usually offer twice a day.

Superworms are very convenient for me because my bearded dragon also eats them and a local petstore sells them at reasonable prices.
