My superworms don't appear to be eating like they used to. I currently have orange peels, Fluker's gutload and bedding made of bran flakes and oatmeal.

At first I thought it was because they were too cold so I put the container on top of one my tanks to keep it warm, but it doesn't appear the food's been touched. Is it because I keep my orange peels in the fridge before I put them in their container or what? They do appear to have been shifted but other than that I'm not seeing any holes or anything in the orange peels like I used to.

Did you try carrots? I put four of the smaller sized carrots from the fridge in every morning and when I come home from work they are usually gone. I have tried potatos but they dont seem to eat them as much. Thanks, Joe

I know they don't like overcrowding so a low shallow container is best. This could be the problem. I don't have superworms but I gutload my mealies with broccoli, carrots, and apples all cut up in slices. This seems to be working thus far.

Okay. So I went out and bought a new container. It's about as deep as my old one but much wider. I currently have about 50 supers in it, along with some carrots, orange peel and Fluker's gutload. So far the ones I just bought today seem pretty hungry of course. I hope I've solved my problem.

Thanks, guys.
