Superworms, have to cut off head?

i have just started feeding them and i was told the same thing at petstore, but was told here that i didnt have to cut off heads, so who did i think was the more reliable source? ppl here that actually KNOW and CARE about leopard geckos!!

Some of my 15 gram juvies can eat them. No way would I cut the heads off, it would be no fun for the little guys & gals.

No need to cut off the heads of superworm; but if you feed crickets, its better to pull off the jump legs.

Yes, I read in "Super Worm Feeding 101" that cutting
off the head of a Super Worm is "bad luck." ...

GM food in the reptile world

superworms and giant mealworms are two different things. It doesn't take any hormones to make a superworm big... they are just big. Giant mealworms are a different story... they use a hormone to prevent them from pupating, so they just continue to grow, and therefore can get quite large.
