well, I am a noob....But if it had patternless in it, and that was visible...were are the water dropping marks on the head? I would say it looks like a regular SS to me. Maybe its just a freak incident were...I dunno...the albino gene didnt carry over to that hatchling..is that even possible lol...either way..If you dont like it..Ill gladdly adopt it:) They are all awsome.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone.

I'll keep an eye on her and see what the pattern does.

I'm sure no one is breeding Trempers to Rainwaters on purpose, but I also know that several of the "major" breeders don't recognize the het status of anything...albinos are sold as albinos and non-albinos are sold as normals.

I guess that is true. Not sure why those breeders are considered worth a poop, knowing they have made such a mess, but that is another story.:main_yes: I know I would have been very unhappy to find that my Mack Snow had all of those genes, so you have to understand where I am coming from, with my above comment. That was unprofessional of them.

I know of one breeder that has made Trempers and hets possible het for RW, Patternless, and Blizzard. Not on purpose, but thanks to one of those breeders. That was why I asked where the parents are from, since that would probably be the only place you could have aquired a Mack Tremper het for RW.

I guess I can not help you, if you you will not answer the question. Good luck.

Dan, I don't think it would be in the breeders best interest to say they have tremper/ rw animals. It may be better to take that to PM or email.

Well it is not something that should be kept secret, and the breeder I was thinking of was disclosing that information, as they should. They had proven their Mack het for all three, I believe.

To not tell someone about other possible genes you knew about, would be wrong. So how is posting the info in a thread any different? To not disclose this information could also be viewed as wrong.

What if it is a different breeder than I am thinking of? I think that it should be known, whether it was known or not, because it is known now.

I say it like that because, I`m sure there were/are some people that were unable to prove their Macks het for some traits, like I was, not able to test breed mine for Patternless, so I would have no idea if mine were possible hets.
